LA Times, doughnuts have had an haute cuisine makeover in Beverly Hills. Were they spelled "donuts" before? The article also claims that cupcakes are all the rage these days here in the Southland. Where? Has anyone graced any of these supposed cupcake eateries?

I, too, have heard vaguely of the cupcake thing. But in New York. Ms. Gotti on Growing up Gotti totally pigged out on like these upscale cupcakes. And I remember them being referenced in a SNL rap. But you know what methinks? A donut is a doughnut is a dunkins is a winchells is a krispy kreme. They all give you heartburn. Love, deb
